Webelos Experience

Webelos Experience is held at Stearns Scout Camp, a large camp with over 1200 acres of forest, lakes, and wildlife less than an hour NW of the Twin Cities. Webelos Scouts, their leaders and parents get the opportunity to camp and cook outdoors, as well as to participate in activities that will help the participants earn Webelos Activity Pins.

At this weekend campout the Webelos Scouts will have the opportunity to spend some great time with friends and fellow Scouters and experience what Boy Scouting will be like.

Who can go

Cub Scouts who are nearing the transition to the Boy Scout program in 2014 (current Bear and First Year Webelos Scouts)

Dates

Held on a Fall Weekend every two years.

  • Camping
  • Outdoor cooking
  • A Massive games area
  • A See-and-Do-Midway featuring unique demonstrations
  • A Webelos Transition Midway
  • A Webelos Activity Pin Area
  • Live music and a giant fireworks display
